The VIOLENT ARP BAND has been undergoing some changes behind the scenes. Drummer Dave Hoffa split a while back and has been replaced by the one and only MIKE MAZZOLA, a longtime Magas ally and drummer of RAGTONES and LASERS & FAST & SHIT. Mazzola's rough'n'tumble style meshes perfectly with the turbulent and surreal hard-rocking vortex that is the VIOLENT ARP BAND. We can't stop this freight train. Expect shows July-ish.

The VIOLENT ARP BAND was formed in Chicago, 2010, by Jim Magas, Eli Caterer, Matt Jencik and Dave "King of Metal" Hoffa. The concept of the VIOLENT ARP was a concept so demonic and hallucinatory that MAGAS couldn't handle it alone--a team of musical warriors were united to drive the force into bold new territory. VIOLENT ARP BAND is reinventing the music of MAGAS, making the last 10 years worth of material sound like bedroom demos for what is about to come.
